Power in Practice Coalition
Guiding Revolutionaries (Adults)
This program welcomes adults from the Northwest District and emerging educators — whether they’re building skills in tutoring, culturally responsive teaching, restorative practices, or bringing adaptable career experience from non‑traditional pathways — to step into mentorship roles grounded in community, identity, and purpose. These mentors engage youth in authentic, culturally‑rooted learning and leadership, while strengthening their own capacities as educators, workforce leaders, and community pioneers.

Community Advocacy Workshops
Guiding Revolutionaries (Adults)
Join us for transformative workshops designed to empower educators, community leaders, and advocates in promoting educational liberation and social justice. These programs emphasize honest education, healing racial trauma, and building thriving, equitable communities. See upcoming workshops on our eventbrite page.
Preserving Our Stories:

Guiding Revolutionaries (Elders)
The Historic Northwest is rich with living history. Through multi-generational programming focused on storytelling, we connect our young ones with the elders whose wisdom guides us and preserve local Black history.
